TVARC Annual Holiday Party – December at Eisenhower Recreation Center
Because nothing says “Happy Holidays” like coax and cookies
Each December, Club members swap out our regular meeting for something with more sugar, less SWR, and just as many laughs: the TVARC Annual Holiday Party! This is a festive evening filled with great food, friendly faces, and a dash of radio fun!
📅 Date: December (see club calendar) 📍 Location: Eisenhower Recreation Center – our usual meeting room
Attendees bring their favorite holiday dish to share and enjoy in a buffet of delicious, member-prepared foods.
The evening is open to club members and spouses — even if you’re not a ham, you’ll find plenty to enjoy!
Each year’s festivities may, depending on the year, feature:
- 🍽 Dinner with festive holiday favorites
- 🎁 Ham Radio Raffle – win hobby-related prizes!
- 🤔 Guess That Gadget Game – identify vintage and unusual technical items
- 📸 Photo & Memory Wall – highlights from our year in amateur radio
- 🎙 Mini Show & Tell – members share their coolest projects completed this year
- ❓ Trivia & Morse Challenge – fun for both hams and non-hams
Half our guests are seasoned Hams, the other half just love someone who is — so activities are designed to entertain everyone. No loud music, no dancing, just good company, good food, and a warm holiday atmosphere.
