Club Picnic TVARC Annual Fall Picnic – A Day of Fun, Friendship, and Ham Radio! The TVARC Fall Member Picnic, is well worth the wait each year. Held each fall, this event brings together dozens of club members for an afternoon of sunshine, good food, technology and great company. Members enjoy a delicious lunch provided by the club while catching up with friends and making new ones. The swap tables buzz with activity as gear changes hands and ideas are exchanged. Many of the Hams bring home-brew projects and demonstrate their operation including radios and antennas for use in mesh networks, Parks on the Air and in more conventional QTH environments. One highlight of the event is welcoming The Villages’ newest amateur radio operators, giving them the chance to connect face-to-face with fellow Hams and finding their place in our vibrant community of radio amateurs. From tasty food to lively conversation, the annual TVARC Fall Picnic is a true celebration of fellowship, learning, and the shared interest in amateur radio.
